This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Marginalia collects at http://localhost:3000 and how we use it.
1. What we collect
- Order information: your name, email address and WhatsApp number, and the products you order.
- WhatsApp number: you give us your WhatsApp number at checkout so we can match your Whish payment to your order and reach you if something does not match. We do not use it for marketing.
- Payment details: payment is made in the Whish Money app. We only see the payment in our own Whish account (for example the sender name, amount, date and reference). We do not receive or store your card or bank details.
- Support messages: your name, email and message if you contact us.
- Order records: your name, email, WhatsApp number, the products you ordered, the total and the order status are saved in our private store database so we can deliver your files and keep our accounts.
- Anonymous visit counts: we count visits and which pages and products are viewed, as totals only, with no cookies and no personal identifiers (see our Cookie Policy).
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.
2. How we use it
We use your information only to: process and deliver your order, send our newsletter if you join it, answer your questions (including messages you write to our website assistant or on WhatsApp), send you the payment and delivery emails, answer your questions, keep records of sales, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the store:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, delivers it securely, and stores our order records (in a database) and uploaded files (in a private storage bucket).
- Resend sends our transactional emails (payment instructions, delivery emails, support replies).
- Resend also stores the email addresses of people who join our newsletter (and, if you give it, your first name) and sends the newsletter. You can unsubscribe with one click in any newsletter.
- WhatsApp (Meta) handles messages you choose to send us through the WhatsApp button, under its own privacy policy.
- Whish Money processes payments in its own app under its own privacy policy.
These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.
4. How long we keep it
We keep order emails and records for as long as needed for accounting, support and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize them.
5. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing hello@example.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to what we are required to keep by law.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and signed order links. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest revision.
